So! Third baby!

Remember when I said I had a post all ready to go announcing a third pregnancy? Well, it was more “in my head” than “ready to go.” And then…I couldn’t remember what I was going to say. So I kept putting it off. And, well, I don’t have a big fancy post. Sorry third baby!

follow link Regardless, we are all very excited. Margaret would like a baby sister. For a while, Paul went along and said he wanted “notha sista,” but he’s started to think another boy might be even more fun. The baby isn’t due until April and that seems like a very long time to all of us – especially the one with morning sickness. Like the last two times, I’m very sick and it’s frustrating. But we’re slowly making it through. (Why does time slow to a crawl when you’re sick? I want it to speed up!)

I wasn’t able to get in for my first appointment until almost 10 weeks and it surprised both Thomas and I how much bigger the baby looked than Margaret & Paul at 8 weeks. I don’t know if 8 and 10 weeks really look that different or we’d underestimated the size of what we’d be seeing, but either way we were thrilled to see a nice 10-weeker with a strong heartbeat. Praying it stays that way!

Baby M the third.

  1. I hope the sickness flies by. I know it hits you hard. Thinking of you! Congrats!

  2. follow I am so excited for you! I’m sorry you’re so sick and I’m praying to passes quickly. And I LOVE ultrasound pictures–lookit the little one! Funny thing: I learned recently that the baby doubles in size every two weeks at this stage, so you and Thomas are right, the baby is MUCH bigger than when you saw your others. 🙂

  3. Such a cool picture! I had to wait for the big 20 week anatomy ultrasound to get a peek at each of my kids.

    Congratulations again!
